First roll of film on my Fujifilm Klasse W

First roll of film on my Fujifilm Klasse W

You know how it goes. First test roll is always kind of rough. You don’t know much about the camera and you just have to learn as much as you can from the manual and then try your luck.

For me, I didn’t just read the manual, I probably read any article I could find about the camera. Since I wanted to finish it fast to see if the camera is working, these are just random images I took in last couple days. I wanted to test out the NP mode (only available at iso 800 and above), so the first roll of film I used was Kodak Portra 800. Other than the black and white film, and some Lomography film, this was the only high iso film I could get in the store.

The exposure seems to be accurate. Images are sharp and the auto focus seems to be spot on too. The only thing that I will need to learn more about or get use to, is the viewfinder framing. The viewfinder doesn’t seem to cover the whole frame. For the next roll, I will probably crop in a little bit when I shoot.
