Photo of the week: Grace
Life has been busy, especially after I decided to restructure my website. It will take awhile before you see it, but I think the change will be great and my work will be presented more consistently.
Although I may not have time to do a picture of the day, I am starting to post a picture of the week as a way to keep the site active, and also a good way to review and recap my week.
Since I just came back from my Canada trip, I really wasn't taking a lot of pictures last week. More like catching up with friends, and busy with editing pictures.
This was the picture that stood out the most from last week. I took it after my grocery shopping at a Whole Foods Market (No, I didn't purchase any asparagus water or any overpriced fruit infused drinks).
Looking at pictures like this always brings up questions of belief inside me. I may occasionally go to church but I am not a Christian. To be honest, I wish I grew up as a Christian, that way I don't have to struggle with what I can believe in. It is a different mind set when you grew up in Asia.
I am open-minded in terms of choosing religion and I am glad I have that freedom. The thing is every religion has its good and its bad, everyone has a different interpretation of what's real or what wev should believe in. If I have to believe in something, I need it to be as least presented in a consistent way.
For the moment, I am just me. Perhaps one day I will find a religion that suits me, make me feel warm, hopeful, and glow within like this image.
