My Hometown Penang
Penang is currently listed as a UNESCO Heritage Site, and it has been a popular tourist spot since when I was a kid. I left Penang about 16 years ago and I have to admit that I no longer can tell you everything about this city because it has changed quite a bit over these many years.
One thing I can assure you is, it still has many interesting spots you can go explore as long as you don't mind the heat and humidity. My last visit was during Chinese New Year after my 2 weeks trip in Japan. I spent a lot of time with my family and friends and the comfort I felt was like no other. I didn't go out of my way to explore every attractions since I grew up there, and I really treasured the time being with my mom and my sister. I did walk around Cannon Street, and I visited Kek Lok Si Temple and the Botanical Gardens. Here are the photos and hopefully you will get to visit my hometown one day!
