A brief stop in Kuala Lumpur

After stopping in Tokyo, Japan, I returned to Malaysia to visit my friends and family. Before returning to Penang, I stopped in Kuala Lumpur for a couple of days to spend time with my friends. While I was in KL, I noticed so many changes in life, culture, and the city. The people were much more prosperous than I remembered. I saw people carrying designer bags that could cost them a few months of salary everywhere I went. Dior and Chanel's handbags were leading the trend, and occasionally I saw some Hermes Kelly bags.

In contrast to life in the US, I rarely see people use high-end designer bags. Sometimes, I see people carrying the LV Neverfull, however I can't tell if they are real or replicas. Other than that, people in the US are not too focused on luxury goods. In the US, we do have medical bills that we have to be concerned about. When people save up some money, people in the US tend to invest in property and land first rather than luxury goods.

Apart from lifestyle observation, I love the greenery in Malaysia. You can see plants and trees flourish, and plants can literally grow anywhere. I wished I was into growing houseplants when I lived in KL. It would be easy and fun to grow all the tropical houseplants I want. I didn't spend too much time snapping pictures in Malaysia, but I do love a few shots I took. Fujifilm X100V certainly didn't disappoint when capturing what I saw. Now that I am finally back in the US, it is time to work and produce more content for my YouTube channel!
