South Philadelphia Urban Street Photography

Since I am about an hour away from Philadelphia, I don't visit as often as I would like. Although the scenery in the countryside is beautiful during the drive into town, the roads are narrow and not great for stopping for photoshoots.

The other day, I was supposed to have a quick early dinner before picking up my friend from the Philadelphia airport, however, the Indonesian restaurant I wanted to try was a little too busy, and the line was too long to wait.

With limited time, I decided to skip the restaurant, snapping pictures around the south Philadelphia area before heading to the airport. I love photographing urban scenery, especially how the light reflects from those older buildings.

The early evening light had a beautiful warm sunset glow and some interesting shadows. For that little extra time, I truly enjoyed a quick photography moment with my Fujifilm X100V, which reminded me how much I used to stroll around town photographing the city in Austin.
