Visited Jim Thorpe in Pennsylvania with Leica Q2, Fujifilm X100V, and Sony RX10 III

When I lived in Austin, we had one of the worst ice storms in my life. But, of course, it is relatively speaking since I grew up in Southeast Asia and only lived in Texas. So after moving to Pennsylvania, I thought I would have a snowy Christmas and could do some fantastic photoshoots with the magical white backdrop. Who knew that my first winter here would be so uneventful? No heavy snow, and the grass on my lawn stayed green throughout the winter. Therefore, I decided to visit the Pocono Mountains and stayed in the town of Jim Thorpe for a couple of days.

After checking and seeing they had a forecast for a couple of snow days, I thought making a last-minute trip was a good idea. So I arrived on a snowy day, but unfortunately, the temperature wasn't cold enough to keep the snow; most melted on the second day.

I was excited about photographing on a snowy day and unsure which cameras to bring. I ended up bringing my Leica Q2, Fujifilm X100V, and Sony RX10 III. With my dog around on a snow day, it was challenging to focus on photography, but I managed to snap some pictures. All these cameras performed exceptionally well in challenging weather, and I am happy to get some images I love in a short time.
