Drawing portraits with marker pens

These are a few random portraits I drew when I sat down to watch Netflix in the evening.

Even though I don't watch any actual TV programs, I spend a fair amount of time in front of the TV or on my iPad consuming content.

Sometimes, I feel conflicted. I want to chill and relax, but at the same time, my creative mind will not rest. It tells me that I need to practice to improve my art skills.

Over the years, I collected and bought many arbitrary sketchbooks, notebooks, and art supplies. I aim to use them all and use them up faster than my purchasing speed!

Drawing with marker pens is intimidating. The lines are bold and unforgiving. I have been talking about how I want to draw more stylized portraits, but when I draw portraits, I constantly push the likeness of them instead of expressing myself more in the drawing. I guess you can say this has been my constant struggle.

You can call these my doodles. It was me practicing without thinking, without forcing perfection. Maybe someday, when I am good enough, I can consistently show beautiful drawings on my blog. Meanwhile, if you are still learning like me, let's try to improve together.
